Auction Marketplace

Trading Model

Auctions lead to best prices

The Auction Marketplace uses the Modified Vickrey Auction model, i.e. the highest bidder pays the auction price which is the second highest bid plus the minimum increment (one currency unit). Even if a seller has uploaded many of their trade receivables to TrustBills via bulk upload, a separate auction is started for each individual trade receivable. Powerful volume management tools help trading participants deal with the multitude of small scale, heterogeneous assets.
Trading Schedule

Open around the clock

TrustBills' Auction Marketplace works on 24/7/365 basis, where sellers can start auctions for their trade receivables for 1day, 3 days or 7 days – and soon also for only 3 hours. The sellers choose the start date and the start time. Investors can bid for the trade receivables of their interest during these auction periods. Bid calculation assistants help accurately calculate the maximum bids using all relevant risk factors for all selected trade receivables.

Trading Participants

A marketplace where you can buy and sell

The Auction Marketplace does not differentiate between sellers and buyers. Anyone who sells trade receivables can buy them and vice versa. Typical sellers of trade receivables are industrial companies and service providers. Typical investors are insurance companies, pension funds, asset managers, family offices, banks and factoring companies.
Investor Management

Retaining control over invoices

In order to prevent information about trade receivables from getting into the wrong hands. e.g. competitors, the sellers of trade receivables can choose the circle of investors themselves via the Investor Management feature.
Contracts & Invoicing

Trade receivables, safely

The Auction Marketplace uses standard assignment contracts that are automatically generated by TrustBills for each auction. In addition TrustBills automatically generates invoices for and on behalf of marketplace participants, taking into account VAT legislation and our terms and conditions.
